Taffy Mae – Founder & CEO
I’m new to real estate investing and development, but I’m not new to building things from the ground up. I’ve spent years building organizations, leading teams, and creating opportunities for people and communities. Now I’m bringing that same energy to real estate.
Darrick and I started MAEHART & CO. because we wanted to build something of our own, create long-term wealth, and gain the freedom to shape the future we want for our family. My vision for real estate development goes beyond simply buying and selling properties. I want to create spaces that people are proud to call home and developments that add real value to the communities they’re part of. I’m especially interested in thoughtful, well-designed housing and in finding ways to make better use of properties and land that could become something more. I want MAEHART & CO. to grow into a development company known for seeing a property’s potential and having the vision to bring it to life.
We’re focused on finding opportunities where we can add real value, whether that’s renovating a property, developing new housing, or building long-term investments. Darrick Engelhart – Founder
Darrick Engelhart is the Co-Founder of MAEHART & CO., a real estate investment and development company.
A U.S. Coast Guard veteran with more than 25 years of experience as an IBEW wireman, Darrick brings discipline, leadership, and a hands-on understanding of construction and building systems. Through his work with IBEW Local 46, he has served in various leadership capacities, developing strong skills in communication, negotiation, and working collaboratively with professionals across the trades..
At MAEHART & CO., Darrick evaluates properties, assesses construction and renovation needs, and builds relationships with contractors, tradespeople, investors, and real estate professionals. He and Taffy share a goal of building long-term wealth, creating more freedom for their family, and developing properties that add lasting value to their communities.
